"Nazi punks and right-wing rap - old ideology in a new guise"

Workshop on lifestyle, signs and codes of the right-wing scene, followed by a concert with Freidenkeralarm

"All Nazis wear bomber jackets and combat boots - those guys don't look like that! Those aren’t Nazis!”

Sound familiar? Right-wing structures are much more diverse and more difficult to recognize today than they were a few years ago. They reach far into youth and subcultures and adopt many scene-typical characteristics in their clothing style.

Whether it's autonomous nationalists, right-wing extremist rap groups or others: the symbolism, codes and clothing of the right are becoming more and more diverse, but at the same time are becoming more and more established in the so-called mainstream.

That's why the topic of right-wing lifestyle also needs to be looked at from a new perspective. However, their inhumane ideology remains the same.

In the lecture (in German language) we will talk about the music of the right-wing scene, their lifestyle and clothing, symbols and codes, but above all about the change in the right-wing scene over time.

Afterwards, Freidenkeralarm from Trier will play a political punk acoustic set.

This event is organized by "Demokratie - stark gemacht!", a project by Augen auf e. V. in cooperation with Emil e. V
