Opening of the exhibition - Karel Hubáček Known Unknown

| North Bohemian Museum Liberec

About the exhibition: the exhibition commemorates the 100th anniversary of the birth of Karel Hubáček, one of our most important architects. The exhibition will not only focus on his iconic work - the mountain hotel and the Ještěd transmitter, but will also present his lesser-known projects such as the water and meteorological towers in Prague. The exhibition will also offer an exploration of the architect's early work, including projects for the Máj Cinema in Doksy and the Teplice House of Culture. It will include a correction of some of the myths and inaccuracies associated with his name and present Hubáček as a distinctive personality with an organizational talent and the ability to support the work of his colleagues from the SIAL studio even in the challenging conditions of the time. We cordially invite you to visit this unique exhibition and discover the work and legacy of Karel Hubáček.

We will open the Karel Hubáček exhibition on Wednesday 12 June 2024 at 6pm.
