The Zittau City Museums are already showing some small sculptures by the sculptor Siegfried Schreiber in their permanent collection. This collection is now being greatly expanded thanks to a donation from the Schreiber family: a selection of important sculptures (life-size bronzes and small-format sculptures) and watercolors will from now on permanently enrich the collection and form a special highlight in the permanent exhibition.

The Bertsdorf artist Siegfried Schreiber (1928-1988) is one of the most important German sculptors of the 20th century.

The donors and the mayor of the large district town of Zittau, Thomas Zenker, will be present at the vernissage.
