Meeting in the museum with poet and writer Petr Kukal

| Muzeum Benátecka

Muzeum Mladoboleslavska

On 25 April at 5 pm, you will meet the writer and poet Petr Kukal in the Benátec Museum. During the author's reading you will hear a selection of Kukal's poetry, prose snapshots, which the author describes as text photographs from the historical centre of Prague, and glosses and feuilletons. Petr Kukal is a man of many professions: he has worked as a teacher, a journalist, published a number of prose and poetry collections and contributed to several textbooks. He has also worked in PR. He has received several literary awards and his poems have been translated into Russian, Polish, Hungarian and Bosnian.
We didn't invite Peter Kukal to Venice by chance: he spent his childhood holidays here with his grandmother and then lived here with his family for a few years. He has a very close relationship to our city.
