We will visit Scotland through photographs and get a glimpse into its history and traditions. On our journey from the east to the west coast and back, we visit the Scottish capital Edinburgh, known as the Athens of the North, and stop in the historic city of Stirling, made famous by Scotland's national heroes William Wallace and Robert the Bruce. Our onward journey will take us through the Trossachs National Park and around Loch Lomond, the iconic Glen Coe valley whose cliffs were once a silent witness to the bloody massacre of the MacDonald clan. We'll imaginatively climb the highest mountain in Scotland and the UK, Ben Nevis, and follow the route of the Hogwarts Express over the Glenfinnan Viaduct to the most picturesque of the Inner Hebrides islands, the Isle of Skye, famous for its breathtaking scenery. On the way back to the Scottish capital, we'll visit one of Scotland's most photographed castles, Eilean Donan Castle, and of course stop off at Loch Ness and one of the distilleries in the Scottish Highlands.

Scotland - a distinctive and rugged country with a dramatic history and an equally dramatic, magical landscape that is different every moment thanks to the changing weather. A land of islands and lochs, breathtaking mountain peaks and valleys. A land steeped in myth, home to legendary heroes and mountain men, the land that gave the world the water of life - whisky.
