The 20th year of the Museum Night festival will also be celebrated in Venice nad Jizerou. Colleagues from the Benecko branch decided to follow up this year's celebration of the bicentenary of the birth of Bedřich Smetana and prepared a museum night in the spirit of Smetana. Bedřich Smetana used to stay at the Benátec chateau in his youth and since the middle of the 20th century he has had a memorial hall in the chateau.The programme will take place on 24th May from 5 pm to 10 pm in the Museum of Benátec;

at 5:15 pm and 7 pm performances by the theatre troupe Rolnička, which is currently celebrating the centenary of the puppet theatre in Venice with an exhibition at the museum.
From 18:00 performance by pupils and teachers of the ZUŠ J. A. Benda and the JazzBenda group
