For centuries, wood has been the most important raw material in the wooded landscape of the Pojezierze region for making tools and utensils, crockery, furniture and, last but not least, for building houses, farm and technical buildings. Vladimíra Jakouběová's lecture will introduce you to the work and skills of ax makers, shingle makers, coopers, carvers and other producers who made not only everyday objects but also works of exceptional aesthetic value from wood and wicker in our region.
