The exhibition presents the first lifelong retrospective of photographs of Liberec by Petr Šimr, whose documentary photographs can stand comparison with the best Czech photo-documentarians of the 20th century.
The exhibition at the North Bohemian Museum pays tribute to the work of this leading Czech documentary photographer, who has been photographing continuously since the 1970s and whose lifelong subject is the city of Liberec and its inhabitants in an authentic, non-deceptive form.
