At that time the quartet won the third prize and the title of laureate at the Prague Spring International Music Competition. The ensemble also attended masterclasses with renowned personalities (Yo-Yo Ma, Alfred Brendel, Noah Bendix Balgley, Allan Nilles, Josef Špaček, Jan Fišer and Lukáš Vondráček). One of the members of the quartet (Eliška Kukalová) will not perform at the Semily concert because she will be a new mother at that time. "The young ensemble has all the attributes we are (were) used to in famous Czech string ensembles. Clear articulation, "legible" contours of each instrument, transparent yet complex sound and sensitive communication with each other are perhaps the basic characteristics of the ensemble. The ensemble's goal is to combine the tradition of the Czech quartet school with the modern musical approach that its members were able to acquire during their studies at the prestigious universities in Salzburg, Vienna, Berlin, Dresden and Prague.
