For nearly a century, synthetic crystals have been subtly contributing to a better quality of life for all of us. The exhibition titled CRYSTALS - 80 YEARS IN THE SERVICE OF TECHNICAL PROGRESS will take the visitor through the history of crystal cultivation and demonstrate how synthetic crystals are prepared today. It will allow you to take a look under the hood of everything that the Turnov CRYTUR is actually doing today and to experience "first-hand" in which modern technologies crystals find their application today. The work of Turnov's progressive company CRYTUR is found in a number of sectors, which will be presented here in a very illustrative and interactive way. After seeing this exhibition, every visitor will have a much clearer idea of what actually goes on behind the walls of CRYTUR. Incredible as it sounds, they can't do without it in CERN in Switzerland, but also in medicine, microscopy, geology, in X-ray cameras or even when you want to remove an old tattoo. Growing crystals - important work of the Turnov CRYTUR. Want to see how a crystal grows? Thanks to the hologram, you can see it within a minute, even if it takes a month in reality! This and much more awaits visitors to this exceptional exhibition, which Turnov CRYTUR would like to celebrate the 80-year tradition of this extremely interesting field in Turnov.
