Clarinet Quartet of Aleš Tvrdík

| Mírové náměstí

The Clarinet Quartet is composed of members of the F. X. Šalda in Liberec. The ensemble's repertoire is very varied and includes both original arrangements of opera arias by the ensemble's bass clarinetist Graziano Sanvito, as well as jazz and swing works. A cross-section of the repertoire was presented by the ensemble in a stream of the theatre during the pandemic called "If Four Clarinettes", which is still available on Youtube and enjoyed great popularity among both the general and professional public. For the open air concert in Jablonec, the ensemble has prepared key works of the repertoire for clarinet quartet of all genres and we believe that it will find its fans and listeners. Aleš Tvrdík is a native of Jablonec nad Nisou. He is a laureate of many competitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. As a soloist he has played with orchestras in Germany, Czech Republic and Italy. He has also made recordings for Czech Radio. He also plays chamber and orchestral music in the wind trio Tria Ligna, in the orchestra of the F. X. Šalda Theatre in Liberec and since October 2021 he has been the first clarinet player of the Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra.
