The exhibition is also an exploration of the architect's early work, which crystallized into the prized projects of the Máj Cinema in Doksy or the Teplice House of Culture. In addition to correcting some of the traditional myths and inaccuracies, the exhibition also presents another strong line, which is Karel Hubáček as a personality with strong organisational talent and an exceptional ability to initiate and support the work of other colleagues of the SIAL architectural studio despite the unfavourable conditions of the socialist state system.


Karel Hubáček The exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of one of our most important architects will not be linked only to his greatest architectural work - the mountain hotel and the Ještěd transmitter. It will be included among his other remarkable, but less well-known to the public, realisations of technical buildings, such as the water and meteorological towers in Prague.
