Commemorating the 80th anniversary of the battles over the Libyan port of Tobruk, the scientific regional library in Liberec has organized, in cooperation with the Czechoslovak Community of the Legion's Union Liberec, this exhibition "The Heroes of Tobruk."
The exhibition, presented on informational panels with large-format images, many of which have never before been published, recalls the deployment of the Czechoslovak Infantry Battalion 11 - Ost under the leadership of the legendary commander Karel Klapálek in the defence of this strategic Libyan port.
