Acoustic Punk of the 1930's from Kraków & Poznań

What if punk rock had not come in the 1970's but in the late 20's and 30's - and in Poland? Four musicians gathered around this idea in Kraków in 2013 - they had previously played metal, folk and other things, and were all fascinated by the early years of the Second Polish Republic.

Similarly to the Weimar Republic, it was characterised by a glamourous, avant-garde cultural scene, while politically cloudy times were brewing. Hańba! took the artistic inspiration of this era and the working-class spirit of the time as well as the revolts of the Sex Pistols. A street-folk band that springs all categories, according to the music journalists of the Polnische platform folk24.pl, and in 2014 unanimously chose Hańba! to both debut band and band of the year.
