Musical

Chamber Choir of the Augustum-Anne-Gymnasium (conductor: Anke Elisabeth Bertram) Youth Symphony Orchestra "Grenzenlos" of the "Johann Adam Hiller" Music School and the Dreiländereck District Music School (conductor: Dalibor Tuž).

The story of the piece takes place in the school environment. Julian - in the final year of his Abitur - leads an outsider existence and lives in his fantasy world. His slightly younger classmate Anna gets to know Julian and gives him the feeling that he is not offended by appearances. Julian's classmate, macho Marco, is just dumping his girlfriend Gabriela and is trying to get Anna in his cool way.
Through intrusive curiosity, Marco learns of Anna's friendship with Julian and tries to make Julian believe through allusions and indiscretions that Anna loves Marco. Julian feels betrayed, and disaster strikes...

Dramaturgically, the sensational and successful - embodied by Marco and catchy rock music - is opposed to the symphonic-lyrical-melancholic - alias Julian - culminating in the words of the final chorus: "And he runs, and he always runs behind..., because you can tell the winner at the start."

The musical is a plea for imagination and tolerance.
