There are 20 historical crystal chandeliers in the entire palace, whose price is estimated at CZK 1.25 million. Preciosa Lighting, which continues the 300-year tradition of manufacturing lighting fixtures in Kamenický Šenov, participated in the renovation of lighting for the unique building of the Liebieg Palace in Liberec. The renovated luminaires present visitors with a cross-section of the most important historical chandelier models. Whether it be crystal cast chandeliers, popular Theresian chandeliers or the so-called trimmings baskets. The individual chandeliers, created more than 100 years ago, are united by precise handiwork, a large number of components, diverse materials and production technology. The chandeliers, to which Preciosa Lighting has restored the original shine and sparkle, form an exceptional set that represents the most important chandelier models made in Kamenický Šenov by the predecessors of today's master glassmakers. The unique combination of innovative methods with time-honoured craftsmanship techniques passed down from generation to generation brings talented Lightkeepers the opportunity to be part of some of the most exciting regional and global projects.
