Children, teenagers and their loved ones supported by the Ozvěna Foundation face difficulties of various kinds in their everyday lives, but they do not lose their will and strength to overcome them. In this respect, a connection can be made between their story and that of Bedřich Smetana, who composed his most famous work, My Country, after the irreversible and complete loss of his hearing in 1874. There is never a time to give up and nothing has to be a reason to stop creating and making life better for yourself and others. This can be the motto of all those coping with disability in the 19th and 21st centuries as well as those who support and care for them.
Concert length: 60 minutes without intermission. Suitable for children aged 9 and up, primary and secondary school students.
