For her first feature-length puppet film, director Kristina Dufková chose the book Life to Eat by French writer Mikaël Ollivier. The story tells the story of Ben, an overweight man who loves music, food and cooking. When he falls in love with his classmate Klara, he decides to lose the extra pounds. On his way to his dream figure and Klara's heart, he gets to know himself. The film has won several prestigious awards, including the Audience Award at the Annecy International Animation Festival. It has been screened at the Berlin, Ottawa and Zagreb festivals, where it has been praised for its visual poetry and emotional depth. The film has been nominated in several categories for the Czech Lion 2025. In the Johann Gallery you have a unique opportunity to see an exhibition of sets, props and puppets from the making of the film. The exhibition has been created by the production company Barletta in cooperation with Anifilm Festival and Liebieg Palace.
