The production - inspired by the French film of the same name by Albert Lamorisse - tells the story of a little boy and his balloon, which not only can fly wherever he wishes, but above all can return the boy's friendship. But will the boy defend his inflatable friend from uncomprehending adults or a bunch of childish street urchins? This poetic production for young children aged 3 and up is performed in an intimate studio space and is almost wordless.
