In 1937, the director of a large factory and his wife arrive in Svit under the Tatras to build a modern industrial town, following the Bat'a model of Zlín. Their plans are disrupted by the disturbing discovery of a corpse on the factory premises. A newborn with both male and female genitalia. A monster. The case exceeds the capabilities of the local gendarmes, is subject to maximum secrecy and the secret police arrive on the scene. However, it seems that the only one who wants to solve the mystery and find answers and the truth is the pregnant wife of the director.
