FROM STOCKHOLM TO HELSINKI ON A PADDLEBOARD

| Na Rampě Club

It's high time to make your dreams come true. Mine are about freedom and wandering through pure nature on a paddleboard. I love Scandinavia, I've already done two big trips here. But neither of them was so long that I thought I'd had enough. So in the summer of 2022, I packed up and headed from Sweden to Finland via the Aland Islands. Why here? I just saw some pictures of Aland and the map said it should be possible. It was a beautiful slice of life on the water. The journey from Stockholm to Helsinki took 40 days, and I paddled about 630 kilometres at sea. I met wonderful people and answered a lot of questions along the way. Like the fact that it's not too late to venture into the unknown. That a man in his 50s, when everything hurts, can go on a long journey alone. Long journeys are healing. In the end, it was clear to me that I just had to go again...
