Discover new energies for Saxony: This is the motto of the Saxon Energy Days. It's all about renewable energies, climate protection, and innovative solutions for a sustainable future. On April 10, you'll also have the opportunity to learn more and take a look behind the scenes of research and application in Zittau.

In the Zittau Power Plant Laboratory at the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences, questions about making thermal energy systems more flexible through the use of energy storage are being investigated. For this purpose, the laboratory is equipped with an electrically heated steam generator and steam storage, as well as a self-developed thermal battery and a heat storage test facility.

The tours are suitable for interested young people, students, and members of the public. Families with young researchers are also welcome. The event is free of charge and no prior registration is required.
