The courtyard of the chateau will be filled with a traditional fair where you can buy refreshments, regional products, traditional goods and gifts, Christmas products, sweets and other delicacies. You will be warmed up by mulled wine, hot mead or the brewery elixir - Svijanský Předek. Listen to Christmas carols and buy beautiful Christmas gifts. At approximately 4.30 p.m., we will light the castle Christmas tree together, accompanied by carols sung by children from the Svijanský Újezd kindergarten and primary school. Under the tree you will again be able to see original hand-painted Nativity scene by Kristýna Kolenská. Throughout the day, the castle exhibitions will be open for free. The traditional holiday market will take place in the castle courtyard on Saturday, December 2, from 10 am to 5 pm and admission is free. After dark we will light the beautifully decorated tree to the singing of Christmas carols.
