Ken Ludwig, Agatha Christie A new theatrical adaptation of one of Agatha Christie's most famous mysteries from the pen of successful playwright Ken Ludwig. The Orient Express, a luxury train travelling across Europe, is stuck in snowdrifts on its regular journey through the Balkans. Just as the train came to a halt, the machinery froze and passengers and crew were left to their fate for days. Each with his own secret, each with his own mysterious past. The atmosphere is tense, and as it happens in detective stories, a crime occurs. Fortunately, by sheer coincidence, the famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot is among the passengers on the train and immediately sets to work. The case is extremely complex and the protagonist must use all his wit and genius to solve it. Fortunately, time works in his favour this time. What really happened, who the perpetrator of the crime is, and how Poirot will deal with the situation, we can't really tell you at the moment. To find out, come see Poirot at the F. X. Šalda Theatre, where the play will be directed by Kateřina Dušková.
