VENTOLIN & JOHUŠ MATUŠ

| Na Rampě Club

Ventolin is the electronic project of David Doubek, a founding member of Kazety and a member of the Nejhodnější medvídci theatre, who has been active on the electronic scene since 2007. His debut EP Mžitky was released in 2009, followed by his debut album Totem in 2012, the EP Playbour (2015) and the collaborative album The Game YS ROTTYN (2016) with Polish anonymous techno duo RSS B0YS. The breakthrough in Ventolin's career came with the release of his second full-length album Vitajte (2017), led by the viral hit Disco Science with a music video directed by Petr Marek (Midi Lidi) and Johana Novotná (Johuš Matuš) based on the groundbreaking "greenscreen" masking technology. The album Dneska se vyčasilo followed in 2021 with the hits Mech and Posun času. The album is released in cooperation with the label Bumbum Satori. In addition to numerous domestic concerts in Czech clubs and large and small festivals, he also returns annually to Slovakia and Poland. For live playing Ventolin uses old samplers, analogue synthesizers and archaic drummachines. He is a lover of the primitive sound of Detroit techno, Italian disco and the Indian disco style called "shrumbabumba" from the 1880s, played mostly with palms on the skin. In 2022, he founded the musical group Amethyst with members of the Most Worthy Bears Theatre. David Doubek lectures in cultural anthropology at Charles University. Johuš Matuš is a musician and artist duo-solo influenced by ruralism and existentialism. Within the limits of his own genre "rural-pop" he composes songs, paints posthumous pictures of dogs and makes films. What connects all of this, you ask yourself? Things that have touched you in some way and the touch of those things is what connects it/you/us.

The Disco King with his show - a concert full of unconventional audiovisual sensations, accompanied by a rustic-pop duo-solo. ACROSS GENRES - ELECTRO MUSIC.
