The multidisciplinary authorial performance of the ZUŠKA, which will take place for the public at the Eurocentre Summer Stage on Wednesday 29 May at 16:00, will take the audience through various historical stages of Czech popular music of the 20th century. The inspiration comes from five of the most important pairs of authors who have made an indelible mark on Czech music history: Voskovec-Werich, Suchý-Šlitr, Svoboda-Štaidl, Horáček-Hapka, Svěrák-Uhlíř.
The performance at 16:00 is intended for the public and lasts approximately 70 minutes without intermission. The performance for schools will take place on the same day at 9:30.
The event takes place as part of the 10th annualJablonec Tones festival and is part of this year's celebrations of theYear of Czech Music.
In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the adjacent Great Hall of the Eurocentre.
