The two losers Albert and Bruno have had a tough year. They are up to their ears in debt, they have no place to live and their partners have left them. For free chips and beer, they join a group of young activists led by a charming girl called Cactus (Noémie Merlant). Between the banners and the smoke from the pipes, the fresh friends find the opportunity for a dirty deal and later the love and energy for new beginnings.
