Over 200 certified TICs from all over the Czech Republic will contribute to the rich programme. The aim of the event is to emphasize the importance of the functioning of information centres even in today's digital age; to present the diverse work of their employees to the general public. The Tourist Information Centres Week starts on the World Information Development Day declared by the United Nations, which highlights the importance of access to information in the modern world. Information centres have prepared a wide range of activities for their visitors, including fun quizzes, costumed tours, creative workshops for children and tastings of regional products.
