The main goal of the Foster Parenting Week is to arouse public interest in foster care (i.e. adoption/adoption, long-term foster care and temporary foster care), to improve awareness, to dispel myths and prejudices prevailing among people about foster parenting and to increase the number of foster parents in the region;
For the general public there are freely accessible events, such as talks, open days, an exhibition of photographs of foster parents, garden festivals and contact campaigns with an information booth in the centre of Liberec and Česká Lípa.
