THE GOLDEN VOICES OF GOSPEL invite you in their very personal and inimitable way to a journey that leads through a century of spirituals, traditionals and gospels. This music expresses like no other the attitude to life, the pride and the devotion of the vast majority of the black population of the USA.

"Clap your hands...", "Stamp your feet...", "Shout Hallelujah....", will be the words when the listeners are asked to join in and experience the part. The partly melancholic, partly rousingly spirited ones Gospels supported by the fantastic rhythm section "get under your skin" like hardly any other music and yet they are church hymns as they are sung in the services of the "Black Churches" in the USA and the Caribbean.

The extensive musical repertoire of these charismatic voices lets us guess that the roots of almost all important "modern" music genres of the last century (blues, jazz, rock, beat, etc.) go back to gospel music. Both modern gospel pieces and songs like "Oh When The Saints", "Glory Glory Hallelujah", "Swing Low Sweet Chariot", "Motherless Child", "Joshua fit the Battle of Jericho", "O Happy Day" invite the audience to the listening and participating.

A powerful-voiced institution in Germany for decades, The Golden Voices of Gospel were able to support Michael Jackson on "Wetten, dass...?", were in the studio with Helene Fischer and on a Christmas tour with André Rieu - they are known from dozens of primetime Saturday evening shows. The Golden Voices of Gospel are now presenting something very special for this year's festival: hits meets gospel on "Hallelujah".

It is the marriage of two genres, a celebratory meeting of exceptional voices and traditions - this stylistic openness has always characterized gospel music, strictly speaking: jazz, blues and other modern music styles have found their way into the singing of the great gospel choirs for decades, and that's how it is It was a logical step to expand the sound spectrum for the first time to include German hits and Christmas classics. "Hallelujah", the new album by The Golden Voices of Gospel, proves how moving and touching this combination sounds, in the course of which the renowned choir, known from numerous TV formats, brings together classics of its genre with a Schlager feeling, interpreting English-language originals in German or presents Christmas with the vocal power of a gospel institution. Above all, however, there are consistently great feelings and moods suitable for the festival that await you on “Hallelujah”…‎
