The cello duo The CELLO Boys was formed in the autumn of 2016. In the course of its artistic activity, the group has had numerous performances both in the Czech Republic and abroad. They have performed at many events such as concerts, balls, festivals, town fetes, corporate events and more. They also regularly hold their own concerts in various theatres or industrial or other atypical spaces. They perform "classical", pop, rock or other modern music. Their repertoire includes J. S. Bach, J. Haydn, M. Doležil or D. Vrchoslav, as well as their own virtuoso arrangements of the most famous songs by bands such as Nirvana, AC/DC, U2, Europe, Iron Maiden or famous artists and DJ's including M. Jackson, L. Fonsi, Avicii and others. They try to combine these contrasting styles. That is why we can notice, for example, the motif of the 4th movement of the New World Symphony A. Dvořák's Fear of the Dark (Iron Maiden), or the Toccata in D minor incorporated into Thunderstruck (AC/DC). He chooses his compositions in such a way as to showcase the virtuoso technique and all the possibilities of the instrument, while at the same time not boring the expert or the less demanding listener.
