During its 26 years of existence, it has become a unique representative event, a meeting of the best craftsmen in the Liberec Region and the Czech Republic. Every year visitors can admire the work of 150 craftsmen. There are also masters of traditional handicraft production from various regions of our country, holders of the national title of the Carrier of the Tradition of Folk Crafts, holders of regional brands and crafts included in the representative list of UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage (blueprint, beads). The Old Bohemian Handicraft Markets in Turnov provide visitors with direct contact with traditional materials and production methods that do not burden the environment. The rich offer of crafts is also complemented by a wide selection of delicious refreshments, in many cases awarded with regional food labels. In addition to the cultural programme, there are also wooden swings, a carousel, large-scale games, puzzles and other attractions for children.
