The five-member band Stanley's Dixie Street Band will play in Jablonec's Tyršovy sady on Sunday, September 1, from 3:00 pm. The word "street" in their name suggests that they are not trying to play some kind of pro-composed jazz, but rather classic Dixie, which comes from the early days of this music. If possible, they play without equipment. The vocals are acoustic over a "bugle", bringing out the stylishness of the genre and creating a unique sonic archaicness. The repertoire includes all Dixieland classics, swing, blues and more.
The event takes place as part of the 10th annualJablonec Tonesfestival.
