A light summer trainmovie, THE JOURNEY follows the state of mind of a girl on the run from her past who encounters a peculiar young man whose immediacy and freedom confirm her in the rightness of her decision. Monika Fejglová Monika is a theatre and film actress. In addition to the Czech Republic, she also worked for several years in England, where she studied film acting at Middleweek Newton Academy in London and starred in the BBC series There She Goes. In the Czech Republic she took acting and directing courses. She has starred in Czech Television's post-apocalyptic science fiction film The Runners, several TV series and independent projects. She has been involved in film production for some time. Together with writer and director Adolf Forman, she produced the independent film I Invented a Woman, Gentlemen!, where she also played one of the leading roles. Camera, editing, grade: Michal Havlíček Michal is a photographer, filmmaker and documentary filmmaker. He studied graphic design and gradually worked his way through graphics and photography to video. He started out on backstage videos and making of documentaries. He made several music documentaries for the band Imodium and over 35 music videos for other bands. Nowadays, besides roadmovies and music videos, wedding videos and event videos, he mostly shoots content videos for corporate social media, product videos and image spots. After the film's gala screening, everyone is invited to a film afterparty at Klub KUS, where the band Vyhoukaná SOWA from Hradec Kralove will perform, whose songs can also be heard in the film itself.
