In this newly renovated arcade you will find a new exhibition space and several craft workshops that you can visit and perhaps take away a handmade item as a souvenir. The alley will be officially opened by the Mayor of Turnov, Mr. Tomáš Hocke, at 16:00. The opening ceremony will be highlighted by a musical performance by students of the ZUŠ Turnov. At 16:30 and 18:00 you can look forward to a fashion show.

The gallery on the first floor will open with an exhibition of paintings and prints by Turnov artist Karel Janák! If you visit the newly renovated passage during the opening ceremony, you will be able to see the work of traditional crafts - goldsmith, glass engraver, gemstone cutter and engraver, restorer, metal engraver, painter, tailor or shoemaker. You will get a first-hand look under the hands of the artists and, if you wish, you can take away a unique piece of jewellery or an object that you will be able to take part in making yourself.


The grand opening of the new arcade, called the Street of Emblems, will take place on Friday, May 5, at 4 p.m.! On the first Friday in May, on the occasion of the May Festival, the doors of the newly renovated passage under the Turnov Town Hall will be opened to the public for the first time.
