In Jablonec, a parade with the Nisa Fairy on horseback, drummers and majorettes will pass by with the presentation of the message in front of the town hall at 1.30 pm. If the water conditions are favourable, the message will then pass through Jablonec, Vratislavice and Liberec on canoes, skipping some unnavigable sections. From Andělská Hora, the boat sails all the way to Trojzemí. Meetings are held in the towns and villages along the Nisa, where the canoe crews and the Nisa Fairy give their messages to the representatives of the towns and villages. The purpose of the event is to show the Nisa as a beautiful river, to emphasise the need for its care, but also to open debates on the possibility of cooperation, to pass on experiences in using the banks for leisure activities and more. The last ritual with the handing over of the ribbons to Hrádek nad Nisou, Zittau and Bogatnia will take place on the Tri-Country on Sunday after 12 noon, weather permitting the cruise continues to Marienthal in Germany.
The event is open to the general public.



The Nisa River Festival, organized by the water scouts from the Liberec Flotilla in cooperation with Sundisk and SK Tuleň, has been running since 1997. This year, a flotilla of boats with the Nisa Fairy will sail along the Nisa from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 June. The symbolic start at the source of the Nisa at Nová Ves is on Friday at 12 o'clock.
