Didier Tisseyre (*1958, Senegal) is a French artist whose work focuses on glass, drawing and painting. He studied fine arts in Aix-en-Provence. His artistic work is closely linked to travel - he has visited Brazil, Africa and India, where he collaborated on textile projects with local communities. Upon his return, he set up his own studio in Provence.
He discovered his passion for glass at the Centre International du Verre et Arts Plastiques (CIRVA) in Marseille. He then went to the Czech Republic where he focused on different glass casting techniques. He is currently working with Czech glass workshops, which allow him to transform drawings and paintings into three-dimensional glass objects. His works are thoughtful, often symbolic and combine traditional techniques with modern artistic expression.
