What's it like when a three-month-old infant, a hormone-plagued woman and a planning-loving man take a slightly different train journey? Is it pure folly and gambling, or an unforgettably beautiful experience for all involved? What awaited us in each country? And what is life like on the train? Jana: A baby on the neck, milk on the brain and wandering shoes. The arrival of a new family member, moreover half after Lukas, is indeed a ride, but I would have liked something more. Maybe it's just my fight-or-flight response to a stressful situation, because I don't really care where or which way, as long as it's quick and long! So the all-European half-price train ticket is a sign from above. Luke: A 50% discount makes me, as a proper Czech, want to take out a loan! Waiting for a delayed train is exactly what I have been "missing" since my student days. On the other hand, I've wanted to cross the Arctic Circle for a long time and taking it via Turkey sounds like a challenge. If not, surely my hormonal wife will take care of the excitement! The switch of fate has flipped, so come with us...

16,000 kilometres, 90 trains, 13 countries and 1 infant from the perspective of a mum and dad.
