Půljablkoň has been playing and singing in this line-up since 2013. In the very next year they became visible with the successful album Půljablkoň - Němec & Puttnerová. Půljablkoň's work could probably be most acceptably fit into the "folk" box. But as it is usual with Jablkoň projects, it is not quite that simple. If we want to avoid the vague label "alternative", we have no choice but to set up a special compartment called "New Songs Somewhat Complicated". The concert will take place in the parish garden in Krásná - Pěnčín. Michal Nemec - vocal, guitar Marie Puttnerova - vocal, percussion Over the course of forty years, many branches have grown on the mossy Apple tree - Jablkoň & Svěcený, SymphonicJablkoň, Malá lesní Jablkoň, Big Jablkoň band and others. The Half Apple Tree is the youngest of these and currently the most vibrant. It brings together Jablkoň's leader Michal Němeca, a singer with an exceptional voice Marie Puttner, to explore different corners of music. This collaboration began in 2013 and became visible the very next year with the successful album Půljablkoň - Němec & Puttnerová. Most of the songs, some of which are new incarnations of older Jablkoň compositions, are left with the intimate face of the unmistakable sound of the guitar and vocals of both protagonists, with only a few arrangements added by Jablkoň colleagues (bassoon, percussion, vibraphone) and double bassist Rastislav Uhrík. In the following years, Půljablkoň devoted himself to concert activity and slowly gathered inspiration for his next CD. In the process, as tribal members of Jablkon, they record two CDs with their parent band, Vykolejená and Dýchánek. The second album will be released in 2018 and features eleven new songs and two reincarnations. There are more raw features on the poetic and intimate face of Púljablkon this time around, as well as an unkempt playfulness, as if the shoots of the original Apple Tree have begun to grow into it. Michal Nejtek(piano), Jan Jirucha(trombone), Pavel Zlámal(saxophone, clarinet, bass clarinet), Petr Chlouba (percussion) and last but not least the album's producer Ondřej Ježek. The CD gets the name Světelné léto (Light Summer) and becomes another clearly visible trace in the landscape of Czech songwriting. Půljablkon's work could probably be most acceptably fit into the "folk" box. But as it is usually the case with Jablkoň projects, it's not quite that simple. If we want to avoid the vague label "alternative", we have no choice but to set up a special compartment called "New Songs Somewhat Complicated". For more information, please visit www.jablkon.com
