A grotesque black comedy about a philanthropist who almost becomes a multiple murderer and the place where we all, despite our differences, must live together. "At the heart of this play is sadness. Sad things can be happy and vice versa. And a powerful act can evoke in us the hilarity resulting from that violence. Burke is not the only egoist; all the characters are more or less egoists." (L.
