Rent: ÚNOS - Completely Abnormal Amateur Guild - Fridge Talks

| Naive Theatre, Liberec

The Totally Out of the Norm Amateur Players Society (TOTALLY OUT OF THE NORM) presents the mildly detectivey original comedy with singing and dead bodies - TALKS WITH THE LED on Wednesday 29 May and Thursday 30 May at 7pm in the Naive Theatre Hall. What happens to meat in -30˚C? It freezes, dear children! Written and directed by Petr Rálek. After many years, filled mostly with parenting and reprises of their own old and proven plays, the theatre company ÚNOS has stepped out of its comfort zone and is coming up with the premiere of a new play. The shreds of the former youthful vigour already reflect the emerging mid-life crisis of most of the company members (especially the author of the play), and so the original idea of the intended cheerful one-act play about food has swelled into a regular full-length play about marital and extra-marital relationships. But ÚNOS approaches the given - almost serious - topic in its typical way, so apart from the layering of the story's temporal planes, in which the actors themselves get lost besides the audience, all sorts of clichés and planned and unplanned awkward moments, you can expect a lot of humour, songs, dead bodies, dancing or dissection. Then, as always, the good gets a sharper ending. For audiences aged 12 and up. Running time: 120 minutes including intermission.
