The Liberec director Martin Tichý, together with the playwright Tomáš Syrovátka, has already signed a number of successful productions at the National Theatre of Liberec. Among them, a pair of sport-fairy tale titles stand out: the Fairy Tale of Raška and the Fairy Tale of LIAZka. Now, the third installment of this unofficial series based on real sporting events (not only) from the region has been added. The famous long-distance ski race Jizera Fifty offers many themes: Determination and perseverance, friendship and rivalry, humility and competitiveness... All this includes the story of a trio of amateur skiers who take part in the race side by side. Their performance would like to be at least close to the multiple champion, Stand Sekac, who is also fighting for the podium this year. Against the backdrop of non-verbal clowning with sports commentary, children and adult spectators will also learn many interesting facts about the history and course of the legendary race. For ages 5 and up.
