Pasta Oner: Mind Field

| Galerie Desítky

He is called the king of Czech pop art. Pasta Oner, by his own name Zdeněk Řanda, is known on the Czech art scene as a continuation of this artistic movement, which was made famous in the 1960s in New York, especially by Andy Warhol. The artist began his creative career in 1993 as a young graffiti artist practicing street art. Through his works he analyses and satirizes contemporary pop culture society, a world to which he himself belongs. Pasta Oner is a valued and sought-after artist. He has held several dozen major solo exhibitions and has represented the Czech Republic at cultural events around the world, including Shanghai, London, Brasilia, Magnitogorsk and Lima. His works are regularly auctioned at prestigious auctions and are part of many important private collections. The exhibition runs until 31 October 2024.

Pasta Oner (1979) is considered one of the most outstanding artists of the contemporary Czech scene. His work focuses primarily on oil and acrylic painting and the creation of hanging paintings, as well as the creation of spatial objects, sculptures and installations.
