"Die Soultemperierte Vier" is a quintet of classical and jazz musicians that performs a delightful tightrope walk between classical and modern, free of conventions, full of joy and pleasure.

Bach's radiant power is not diminished, but on the contrary; in the new arrangements, the musicians find their way through modernity and imagine where Bach's path could have led in the 21st century. The consistently cliché-free, no-frills approach to the musical heritage shows taste and repeatedly directs the view from the outside to the original.

Arias from the "Magnificat" and the "B Minor Mass" are interpreted as well as chorales and arrangements of instrumental pieces from the "Well-Tempered Clavier", lute suites and other works of Bach's great spirit.
