Experience the Zittau Mountains Nature Park!

Let the nature park guides, as ambassadors of our region, lead you through nature and the countryside. In addition to flora and fauna, a great deal of information on local history and industrial culture is included in order to obtain the most comprehensive possible picture of the Zittau Mountains Nature Park.

Every fourth Saturday of the month, the hike starts with the certified nature park guide from Oybin. Meeting point is at Niederdorf station. From there it goes past the Robertfelsen to the Ameisenberg. The somewhat steep ascent is rewarded with many beautiful views of Mount Oybin and its bizarre rock formations. Via the Katzenkerbe, you follow secret paths to the historic trade route Alte Leipaer Straße. After a short detour to the Weißer Stein, return to the Alte Leipaer Straße and walk past the Hungerbrunnen to the starting point.
