The programme starts at 11 a.m. in T. G. Masaryk Park, where the Hana Maier Tree will be planted on the occasion of the 70th birthday of the Mayor Emeritus of Turnov. At 5 pm, a commemoration will take place at the memorial to the fallen in Skalova Street. At 6 pm, a gala evening will take place at the Turnov Municipal Theatre, where, in addition to the awarding of the town prize and the mayor's medal, a concert by the opera soloist of the F. X. Šalda in Liberec Věra Poláchová Kavanová and Josef Žák, first violinist of the F. X. Šalda in Liberec with piano accompaniment by Bohuslav Ledl.
The celebration of the national holiday on 28 October is traditionally associated with the Flag for Masaryk campaign.
