Are our politeness, helpfulness and consideration really supposed to be boundless? Where is their limit? And what can we really trust in these over-mediated times? Does it help us, or are we rather getting lost in it? Peter and Debbie are a typical middle-aged British married couple. Work is draining their relationship a bit, their children are going through puberty and they don't get on very well. To top it all off, the eccentric American Elsa, whom they met on a holiday boating trip, has just rung the doorbell of their house with a vague promise that they must see each other again. Of course, the shocked couple try to be perfect hosts, but Debbi makes the "mistake" of typing Elsa's name into Google. And from that moment on, she tries to do one thing - see her unexpected guest off as quickly as possible...
