A little city in Ireland. John (superb: James Norton) is raising his 4-year-old son Michael alone, their life is full of small rituals and a deep love between father and son. But John has cancer and only a few months left. Now he is looking for a new, perfect family for Michael. But how can he explain to his boy why so many strangers are visiting them? Gradually John begins to understand that he does not need to make any decision for the future, rather one for the present - together with Michael. A quiet, deeply moving and very pleasing film.
