In the very early 1900s, an old sailor on an ocean liner found an infant in a lemon box. Apparently left there by some desperate third-class passenger. The foundling came to be called Lemon. On that huge ship, Citron discovered a piano in a first-class restaurant, sat down at it and dipped his hands into the white and black notes, and the legend of "Nineteen Hundred" was born.
