Until September 2019, 'Mutti kanns besser' (Mum can do it better) was in front of the door, now she lives behind it! 'Mutti kanns besser', the sequel to the successful program* with Katrin Hart** in the title role, will premiere in February 2020. All the characters and their actors are back, as is director Volker Insel. However, the situation is now completely different, in principle the opposite - a nice twist!

Sandra (Elisabet Hart) and Jörn (Jens Eulenberger) have had a child and moved into a new apartment. Now Mom and Friedemann (Claudius Bruns), Sandra and Jörn's former subtenant, live in the young parents' former home as a shared flat. But the young couple's happiness is disrupted. Suddenly Sandra and her baby are standing in front of Mom's door to find shelter for a few days and to distance themselves from the crisis in her relationship with Jörn.

The cabaret-style theater evening effortlessly deals with all the topics of modern family life. How do you live with one another as equals and yet still do justice to traditional gender roles? How should you ideally feed yourself and your child today? How do you personally face the challenges of climate change? And how can you reconcile work, family and your own wishes and interests?
